FALLS CITY – A $50,000 bond was set in Richardson County for a Falls City man accused of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver on June 16.

A Richardson County sheriff’s deputy told the court that 55-year-old Michael Blunt had his driver’s license suspended since 2003 but was pulled over in Falls City. The deputy said a search of his vehicle yielded a total of 1.8 grams of meth in three separate plastic bags and a digital scale with meth residue.

The deputy told the court that an average user dose is .2 grams and claimed that Blunt had nine doses in his possession.

An arrest affidavit says Blunt has four active Kansas warrants.
