Police investigation into stolen pickup led to discovery of single bag of 28.5 grams of meth

NEBRASKA CITY – Lara Ureste, 35, was sentenced to four years probation to delivery of a hazardous drug in January of 2022.
Nebraska City police searched a First Corso residence and say a single bag of 28.5 grams of methamphetamine was found, along with other bags and an electronic scale.
Kenneth Pinzino, 35, of Fairfax, Mo., was sentenced to 24 months probation on charges that were brought after the search.
District Judge Julie Smith upheld the search that was part of an investigation into a stolen vehicle. The judge said locating the truck stolen from Torc Motorsports nearby the residence suspect statements about the residence provided probable cause to search. A separate search warrant alleging illegal drugs was not needed.
