Falls City considers ATV, golf course ordinance
By News Channel NebraskaFALLS CITY – The Falls City City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. today.
A public hearing is scheduled on a $310,000 block grant to Great West Petfood Holding Inc. Falls City Foods is purchasing equipment to expand daily operations.
Excel Development proposes a replat of lots at Champions Crossing and Wilderness Falls.
The Falls City redevelopment plan would be amended for parcels in Champion Crossing and Wilderness Falls.

An ordinance is proposed for operating ATV, UTVs and golf carts.
City Administrator Anthony Nussbaum says the fireworks display planned as part of the 2023 hot air balloon festival has been rescheduled to 9:45 p.m. on July 4 at the Falls City Golf Course.
The city also launched its official mobile app on June 17. The app includes a “report an issue” module that allows citizens to report park ground and maintenance issues and provides for mass notifications.
