Creighton men's soccer announces 2023 schedule

Coming off its sixth trip to the College Cup, the Creighton men’s soccer team has announced the Bluejays' 2023 schedule.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Coming off its sixth trip to the College Cup, the Creighton men’s soccer team has announced the Bluejays' 2023 schedule.

Three exhibition matches prepare the Bluejays for the 2023 season as Creighton will host Northern Illinois (Aug. 12) and Drake (Aug. 16), then wrap up the preseason with a neutral site match against Missouri State in Kansas City on Aug. 19.

The 2023 regular season begins in California with matches at Stanford (Aug. 24) and UC Irvine (Aug. 27). The first of seven regular season matches in Morrison Stadium brings Grand Canyon to Omaha on Sept. 1. The Bluejays return to the road to face Denver on Sept. 4, then host Michigan in the Annual Socctoberfest on Sept. 8. 

Creighton heads back to Kansas City on Sept. 12 as the Bluejays face the Kansas City Roos, then kick off Big East play at home against Marquette on Sept. 15. The month of September continues with road matches at Tulsa (Sept. 19) and at DePaul (Sept. 23), before the Bluejays face off against Xavier in Omaha on Sept. 29.

The final non-conference match of the season brings the Bluejays’ crosstown rivals, Omaha, to Morrison Stadium on Oct. 3. Closing out the regular season with five Big East contests, the Bluejays go to Butler (Oct. 7) and Seton Hall (Oct. 14), before hosting new Big East affiliate member Akron on Oct. 18 and Connecticut on Oct. 21.

The regular season finale takes the Bluejays to New York for a match with St. John's on Oct. 28.

Creighton will look to defend its Big East Tournament Championship as the 2023 tournament begins with First Round matches on Nov. 4. The semifinals will take place on Nov. 9, while the championship match is on Sunday, Nov. 12.

Season tickets are currently available, while single-game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
