Omaha police cruiser involved in possible impaired driver crash

OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha police cruiser was involved in a crash Wednesday evening. 

It happened at an intersection on Omaha's westside about 8:30 p.m. 

Police said on Twitter that a Honda failed to yield to an SUV at the intersection before ramming into an Omaha police cruiser that was stopped at the intersection. 

Authorities said the driver is being investigated for possible impairment.
