NEBRASKA CITY - Over  2,700 new criminal cases have been filed in Nebraska’s River Country courts in 2022 and some have added to the thousands of outstanding arrest warrants. Here are some of River Country’s most wanted for the New Year.

An arrest warrant was issued in Cass County for Joel R. Walker Jr., age 39, in June. Walker is suspected of operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, but has not had a court date and there is no lawyer assigned to the case.

Court records say the Lincoln man is suspected of driving away from a traffic stop and traveling at speeds in excess of 110 mph on Highway 63. 

Travis Kirkendall, 47, whose last known address was in Falls City, has numerous charges pending against him.

He has 13 active arrest warrants in Richardson County with a $2,500 reward for information leading to his arrest. The sheriff office asks you to not apprehend Kirkendall but to dial 911 if he is seen.

Jeffrey O'Neal, 52, of Dallas, Texas is wanted in Otoe County.

The sheriff’s office reports seizing 14 grams of meth after a Highway 75 traffic stop. Court records say O'Neal notified a deputy about the presence of meth after he was told a K9 would be deployed for drug detection.

An arrest warrant was issued in September for Erik Anderson, 26, of Omaha. He is suspected of possession of illegal drugs in Otoe County. He was arrested after a K9 search after a Second Corso traffic stop.

Court records say he failed to appear for preliminary hearing after posting a $1,000 bond provision.

An arrest warrant was issued in April for Ross Incontro, 33, of Nebraska City. He is suspected of possession of amphetamine and methamphetamine in July, but did not appear when scheduled to enter a plea. He was arrested after a K9 deployment in Nebraska City.

An warrant was issued on Jan. 12 for Brittany Colorado-Miller of Amity, Ore. She is charged with possession of a deadly weapon and methamphetamine, but did not appear in court for preliminary hearing.

An arrest warrant was issued for co-defendant Logan Barnett, 31, also of Oregon.

Otoe County Court records say police found bags with meth residue and a switchblade in a vehicle in Nebraska City.

An arrest warrant was issued in July of 2021 for Christy Flaata of Devils Lake, N.D. She is suspected of possession of THC wax, Nalaxone and Hydrochloride. The Richardson County Attorney’s Office filed an enhanced charge that could carry a minimum of 10 years saying Flaata had previously been imprisoned in Minnesota on a drug offense.

47- year-old Jeremy Shadel is wanted in Cass County on charges of possession of controlled substance and domestic assault/ threatening manner. 

Court records say Shadel left the Salvation Army rehabilitation center in April and did not return. He  was scheduled for a jury trial in June. An arrest warrant still active.
