FALLS CITY - The Falls City City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, at city hall.

The agenda includes election of council officers, city appointments of Anthony Nussbaum as city administrator, Jameson Baker as police chief, Blake Buckminster as building inspector, Michael Dunn and Tracy Bruns as city attorney, Matt Beer as fire chief, Jon McQueen as assistant chief and Devin Moore as second assistant fire chief.

A Jaycees wrestling event and hunting and outdoor event are planned at Prichard Auditorium.

An ordinance to require registration of vacant properties is scheduled for third reading.

Council member Kaylie Ractliffe will discuss allowing the Falls City Fire Department to respond outside of city limits for motor vehicle accidents that require extraction using the jaws of life.
