SYRACUSE -- The Syracuse City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

The agenda includes a playground project at Williams Park and a childcare incentive program.

Julie Beach of the playground committee will provide a presentation and update to the city council regarding the playground and the committee’s fundraisers. Keno funds are being requested for the project.

Dan Mauk of the Nebraska City Area Economic Development Corporation will discuss a childcare incentive program eligible for ARPA funds.

City Engineer Justin Stark will discuss the scope and fees  for the design of a trail loop and basketball court at Williams park. This is a portion of the master plan put together by Stark and parks director Sonni Graves Hill.
