(Peru, Neb.)—On Tuesday, October 12, the Heart of America Athletic Conference released the men's basketball preseason poll to go along with Heart Basketball media days. The Bobcats were picked to finish fourth in the league with 139 votes.
 
William Penn was voted first place in the preseason poll as they are three-time defending Heart champions. The poll is voted on by all 14 Heart head men's basketball coaches.
 
Last season, the Bobcats finished the season 16-15 overall and 10-9 in Heart conference play. They lost in the first round of the Heart conference tournament to Central Methodist 70-64.
