OPD: Man booked for charges related to August homicide
After allegedly escaping custody in Arkansas, authorities have booked 20-year-old Wuanya Smith.

OMAHA, Neb. -- After allegedly escaping custody in Arkansas, authorities have booked 20-year-old Wuanya Smith.
The Omaha Police Department said Smith has been booked into Douglas County Corrections.
Smith was booked for second-degree murder, use of a weapon - gun to commit a felony, possession of a gun by a prohibited person and violation of probation.
In August, Smith was a wanted man in connection to the shooting death of 22-year-old Anthony Collins III.
Collins was shot Aug. 12 and died from his injuries.
