Sheriff seeks information about van in possible abduction attempt

SYRACUSE – The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office posted a bulletin about a possible abduction attempt in Syracuse.
The sheriff’s office posted photographs of a white, Chrysler Town & Country with a silver or chrome stripe on the sides. The driver was described as a 30 to 40-year-old Hispanic male with a goatee.
A sheriff’s office press release says the man is reported to have tried to coerce a female juvenile into this van.
The sheriff’s office asks anyone with video footage of the van to call the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s is asking to for cooperation with residents particularly on the blocks of 11th to Seventh Street and Chestnut Street to Locust Street.
