Heat index up to 110 forecast

OMAHA - The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory from 1 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Heat index values up to 110 are expected for portions of southeast Nebraska and west central Iowa.

The advisory for Nebraska and Iowa includes 35 counties.

Heat stroke is an emergency. Call 911.
