Dunbar man sentenced after Google cybertip on child pornography
NEBRASKA CITY – Kristion Snyder, 29, of Dunbar was sentenced to four years probation for attempted possession of child pornography in March of 2020.
The Nebraska State Patrol received a cybertip from Google and forwarded it to the Nebraska Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. State troopers searched Snyder’s Wilson Street residence and seized electronic devices.
An arrest affidavit says Snyder told investigators he was exposed to images while searching for gaming information. The Google cybertip noted that some of the images had not been viewed.
Snyder is ordered to the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry for 25 years.
