FLOOD WARNING has been posted for the Little Nemaha River at Auburn, NE
 
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise another 6-7" to a crest of 22.6 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this afternoon.
 
- Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
 

FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THIS MORNING TO TOMORROW
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Nemaha River AT Auburn.

* WHEN...From early this morning to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, State Highway 136 between the gage and
Auburn begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.2 feet...or 0.2 feet
above flood stage.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
hours was 22.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.6
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
22.6 feet on 09/04/1977.
