Police: BB gun pointed at Fourth Corso motorists
68, one pound packages of marijuana found in Highway 2 stop

NEBRASKA CITY – James Simpson, 53, of Nebraska City is charged with terroristic threats and disturbing the peace on April 28.
Police arrested Simpson after responding to a report of a man on the Fourth Corso viaduct pointing a pistol at cars and yelling as the cars slowed down.
An arrest affidavit says Simpson is known to carry a BB gun on his hip.
Criminal impersonation
NEBRASKA CITY – A Pennsylvania truck driver was jailed in Otoe County April 26 for suspicion of criminal impersonation.
A State Trooper pulled over 30-year-old Carlos Weaver and says Weaver misidentified himself to hide arrest warrants. Court records say a Florida driver’s license was found in Weaver’s pocket.
Marijuana in pound packages
NEBRASKA CITY - Two Florida men are charged in Otoe County with delivery of marijuana on April 26.
A sheriff’s deputy stopped a Hyundai Genesis on Highway 2 and says 68, one-pound packages of marijuana were found in the trunk. The packages were described as vacuum-sealed and labeled.
Bonds of $20,000 and $25,000 were set for 62-year-old Gary Hudson of Hallandale Beach and 31-year-old Manuel Paz of Pembrokes Pines.
