Falls City plans Earth Day activities at Stanton Lake

Community clean-up opportunities set April 22-23

FALLS CITY - Earth Day activities are scheduled at Stanton Lake on Sunday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A fun run, wildflower seed bombs and art projects are planned.

Falls City Chamber and Main Street is sponsoring live music and the city tree board will be giving out free trees.

A Falls City community clean-up is scheduled Friday, April 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 23, from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Falls City Sanitation and Koelzer Salvage will accept household waste, furniture and metals east of Prichard Auditorium. Paper shredding is offered at the library parking lot on Friday. Electronics recycling is at the library parking lot on Saturday.

The Falls City Community-Wide Garage Sale is scheduled Saturday, April 30.
