Wildfires, controlled burns Monday evening

Firefighters were dispatched for a barn fire south of Humboldt and there were several fires from controlled burns through the evening.
Firefighters near Tecumseh and Burr extinguished a fire along Highway 136 and left there for another fire shortly after dark.
A brush fire was reported at 727 and 629 Avenue at 9:31 p.m.

Verdon firefighters were on scene at 6:44 p.m. for a controlled burn.
Firefighters in Otoe County had a training burn near the railroad tracks at Dunbar.
All of southeast Nebraska is listed in a high risk for wildfire and portions of the panhandle are listed at extreme risk.
