Sheriff reports highway collision near Avoca

AVOCA – The Cass County sheriff’s office reports an injury accident at the intersection of highways 34 and 50 on Saturday afternoon.

A Fiat convertible driven by Jon Miller, 68, of Iowa and a Ford pickup driven by Eric Weber, 48, of Eagle collided.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and the pickup truck rolled several times before coming to rest in the ditch.

Weeping Water and Elmwood rescue crews transported both drivers to Bryan LGH west for their injuries.
