Hamburg woman injured in Washington Street crash
Sheriff says driver fleeing scene where pickup was driven on church yard

HAMBURG- The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reports a traffic accident in Hamburg early Sunday evening.
A Dodge Dakota driven by 32-year-old Ashley Frost of Hamburg collided with a Dodge Ram pickup driven by Charles Mincer of Toxaway, N.C. near the intersection of Washington and E streets.
Mincer and a passenger were treated at the scene. Frost’s vehicle left the road and went into a culvert. She was taken to Grape Community Hospital with serious injuries.
The sheriff’s office press release says deputies were called around 7:30 p.m. on a report of a woman driving recklessly through a church yard. The press release says Frost was fleeing the area at a high rate of speed prior to the accident.
