OMAHA, Neb. -- The man previously charged with the first-degree murder of a missing Omaha woman pled "no contest" Tuesday to a reduced charge.

Marvin Young entered a "no contest" plea to felony manslaughter, three counts of felony child abuse, and a count of tampering with evidence.

34-year-old Camisha Hollis was reported missing in April of 2018. Her case was updated to a homicide investigation that December. Family members said Young, was Hollis' longtime boyfriend.

Young's trial was set to being at the Douglas County Courthouse in three weeks, but now there will be no murder trial.

Prosecutors believe they still have a strong case, but said the evidence fits manslaughter more than a murder.

Young will be sentenced April 28th.
