Lady Orange fall in subdistricts, boys beat Norris, both likely to host in districts

BEATRICE - The Lady O fell to York, but the Orangemen took care of Norris at home in their respective subdistrict final matchups. 

The Lady Orange ran into a hot shooting night from the Dukes and fell to York by a score of 54-24 -- the largest margin of defeat this season for Beatrice. The Lady Orange were led in scoring by Ellie Jurgens with six points. 

The Orangemen were 49-42 winners over their rival Norris Titans at the O-Zone. The night was led in scoring by Elliot Jurgens and Shelton Crawford with 16 and 14 respectively. Beatrice shot the ball 50% from three and forced 14 Titan turnovers in the win. 

Both Beatrice squads await their district matchups.
