Peru State softball signs Kylee Dieckmann
Peru State softball head coach JL Thomason has signed middle infielder Kylee Dieckmann (Holton, Kan.) for the 2022-23 academic year.
(Peru, Neb.)—Peru State softball head coach JL Thomason has signed middle infielder Kylee Dieckmann (Holton, Kan.) for the 2022-23 academic year.
Dieckmann is a 5-foot-4 middle infielder. She played her high school softball at Jackson Heights.
The daughter of Zach and Kim Dieckmann has collected many accolades academically and athletically throughout her high school career. She was on the National Honor Society all four years. In addition, she was on the student council and was the Vice President of the Jackson County Youth Coalition.
Athletically she lettered in three different sports - twice in volleyball, four times in basketball, and four times in track and field.
The Bobcats begin their season in a little under a month on Sunday, February 20, as they head on the road to take on the Bethel Threshers in North Newton, Kan., for a double header starting at 1 p.m.
