JEAN NOSEKABEL, age 94 of Glenwood, IA, formerly of Randolph and Malvern, IA, died Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Hanson House Hospice Care in Council Bluffs, IA following an extended illness.  Jean was born December 3, 1927 in Randolph, IA to Wendell Harmer Wilson and Violet Fern (Hall) Wilson.  She was married to Francis Eugene (Gene) Nosekabel and was a long-time member of the Randolph First Presbyterian Church. 

 

Jean was a 1945 graduate of Randolph High School.  She worked for over 30 years with the USDA as a Program Manager and enjoyed many kinds of flowers.  Jean and Gene loved to travel and spending time with her granddaughter, Emily.

 

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Nosekabel; 3 sisters and 2 brother.  She is survived her son, Jeff Nosekabel and wife Debra of Ralston, NE; grandchildren, Emily Nosekabel and her daughter Hayley and Jake Moore and wife Lindsay and their children, Caleb, Makenzie, Connor, Jayden, Saylor and Ireland; sister, Jan Bliss of Randolph, IA; brother, Terry Wilson and wife Pat of Council Bluffs, IA; sister-in-law, Gloria Wilson of Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

There will be private family graveside services.  There will be no viewing or visitation.  Memorials will go to the Randolph Volunteer Fire Department and interment will be in the Randolph, IA Cemetery. 

The Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor, IA is in charge of arrangements.
