Winter Storm Watch issued for start of 2022

OMAHA/VALLEY-Winter Storm Watch issued for River Country for the new year. 

WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6
inches possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa, northwest Missouri

* WHEN...From late Friday night through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills as
low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in
as little as 30 minutes.
