Lane opens at Murray

MURRAY – The Nebraska Department of Transportation tweeted a traffic lane has opened on the Highway 1 bridge at Murray.

The viaduct is open to single lane traffic with temporary traffic signals. Local drivers informed News Channel Nebraska that even a single lane is better than detours.

Heavy rains washed out a portion of the construction area and closed the highway in August.
