Falls City school considers girls wrestling, language arts
F&M Bank presents donation from Tiger debit card holders

FALLS CITY - Falls City School Superintendent Tim Heckenlively reports that a girls high school wrestling program is under consideration.
Activity Director Don Hogue presented information to the board at its Oct. 11 meeting about adding the NSAA-sanctioned activity for next school year.
Heckenlively also reported on the passage of ESSER II funding to fund evidence-based curriculum. A committee is being formed with a target of selecting language arts materials for fall of 2022. K-12 math materials are expected for 2023.
Hogue gave the board information about costs, estimated participation and NSAA rules.
F&M Bank presented a “Spirit That Pays” donations from Tiger debit card holders. The donation of $2,750 is one of the largest in the program’s history.
