Pawnee City woman says man with AK47 was not welcomed

PAWNEE CITY – In Pawnee County court cases, 40-year-old Craig Borcher is charged with terroristic threats on July 17.
Court records say he made threats against himself and others after entering a Pawnee City residence. Sheriff’s deputies say a Yugoslavian AK 47, two loaded magazines and 240 rounds of ammunition were found.
An arrest affidavit says Borcher explained that he didn’t want to leave the gun in his truck, so he took it inside the residence. He said he did not threaten himself or anyone, but the woman living there gave deputies conflicting information.
The sheriff says the domestic disturbance call came from children who were hiding in an upstairs closet.
Clinton Brown, 40, of Talmage is charged with possession of methamphetamine following a probation search of a Pawnee City apartment. Brown denies possession.
