OMAHA, Neb. - Creighton University is losing two senior staff members.

On the Athletic Director's last day, Bruce Rasmussen's associate Kevin Sarver announced his resignation on Twitter.

Associate Athletic Director Sarver was an administrator in the department for the past 28 years.

In his post, he said, "Submitted my resignation to Rass this morning-my last day at [Creighton] will be Fri Sept 10. My 36-year run with [Creighton] has been a great ride; thankful to all who have been a part of my journey. Blessed that [Bruce Rasmussen] has been in my life since my 1st day on campus (Aug 1985)."

 

Sarver’s last day will be September 10.

Jim Jansen, a former Douglas County attorney, starts as the interim athletic director on Tuesday.
