City to amend salary ordinance for new city administrator/economic developer

AUBURN -  The Auburn City  Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 9.

The city council will consider an amendment to the salary ordinance in reference to the city administrator/economic developer position.

Ruth Heywood requests a discussion on the impact truck and semi-trailer traffic has on the downtown and its historic structures.

The following appointments are on the consent agenda:

Community Redevelopment Authority, Katy Billings

Housing authority: David Pippert and Merri Johnson

Board of adjustments: Joe Moody and  Ron Jones

Recreation committee:   Shawn Phillips, Chad Stickell, Curtis Aue, Brian Lavigne, Nahum Winder, Pat Krause, Matt Dickerson, Cori Rademacher, Casie Allen, Sam Wehenkel, Amanda Neal, Chris Erickson, Greg Cook, Troy Sharp, and Brant Loose.

Auburn Arts and Events requests approval to place banners below the Welcome to Auburn signs in support of Auburn Strokes Plein Air Paint Out event Sept. 28 to Oct.2.

The board of public works recommends replacement of a computer server and planning for IT security.
