Live music highlights Otoe County fair

SYRACUSE -  The Otoe County Fair July 22-25 features live music, parade, pony cycles and Rockit Event Pros.

Musical entertainment includes the Americana music of The Midnight Wanderers, Murray native Lucas Minor and a dance by country music star Caitlyn Ochsner in the outdoor arena.

The Otoe County Fair parade is at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 24.

Last year, there were no public events at the fair due to the pandemic.

Extension Educator Deb Weitzenkamp said there is a positive outlook for this year, where traditional 4-H livestock, fashion and project exhibitions are planned.

4-H shows include:

• Wednesday, July 21 – enter open class and 4-H exhibits.
• Thursday, July 22 – Horse, goats
• Friday, July 23 – Beef
• Saturday, July 24 – hogs, rabbits, poultry
