Arrests made after Highway 34 crash

PLATTSMOUTH  -- Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports an arrest following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of highways 34 and 66 on Thursday.

Antonia Montana, 58, of Omaha is suspected of driving under the influence and refusing test.

A sheriff’s office press release says airbags deployed in Montana’s Toyota Highlander when it struck the rear of a Ram pickup driven by 31-year-old Francisco Banderas of Rochelle, Ill.

Both parties refused treatment at the scene.
