Two suffer stab wounds in Plattsmouth

One man taken to trauma center, other arrested after treatment at hospital

PLATTSMOUTH – Plattsmouth police report stab wounds to two men on Sunday.

Police were dispatched to a north Ninth Street residence at 2:49 a.m.

A police press release says officers located 32-year-old Timothy Mosley and 29-year-old Joseph Phipps with injuries.

Plattsmouth rescue administered care to both men and Phipps was taken by medical helicopter to Nebraska Medicine. Mosley was arrested after he was treated at a hospital.

Mosley is suspected of assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and child abuse. A child was in the residence at the time of the incident, but was not physically injured.
