Fremont County sheriff hosts drug take back

19th nationwide event for DEA

SIDNEY – The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration organized a drug take back on Saturday.

October events mark the DEA’s 19th nationwide event since its inception 10 years ago.

The public is encouraged to rid their homes of potentially dangerous, expired and unwanted prescription drugs.

Over 88 pounds have been brought to the sheriff’s office for disposal since the last take-back.
