Harvest Ale Festival Canceled Due To Pandemic
Midwest Hop Producers expect festival to return in 2021
PLATTSMOUTH – The Midwest Hop Producers posted on Facebook Wednesday that this year’s Nebraska Harvest Ale Festival has been canceled.
The third annual festival had been scheduled for Oct. 17 at Plattsmouth, but the Midwest Hop Producers’ post says organizers decided to cancel out of an abundance of caution in face of increase COVID-19 cases in Nebraska communities.
They are expected the festival to return in 2021.
Breweries scheduled to participate this year include:

- Empyrean Brewing Co. -Lincoln
- Zipline Brewing Co. -Lincoln
- Brickway Brewery and Distillery - Omaha
- Farnam House Brewing - Omaha
- Long Shot Brewing - Lincoln
- Jukes Ale Works - Elkhorn
- Lazy Horse Brewing - Ohiowa
- Scriptown Brewing - Omaha
- Kros Strain Brewing - La Vista
- Backswing Brewery - Lincoln
