Auburn Man Sentenced After Shot Fired

Judge orders consecutive sentences on threat and weapon offenses

AUBURN – An Auburn man was sentenced to one to two years in prison for attempted terroristic threats on Dec. 20 and a consecutive one to four years for attempted use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Jeffrey Woutzke, 34, was arrested after deputies responded to a 25th Street residence. An arrest affidavit says Woutzke was separating from his girlfriend and fired a shot in her direction. A bullet hole was found in a garage near where the woman had been standing.
