Humboldt Teen Sentenced For Injury To Brother
Investigators says 17-year-old and his brother both grabbed knives from the kitchen

FALLS CITY – Humboldt teenager Emilio Marquez was sentenced to four years probation for attempted assault of his brother on July 31.
Court records say Marquez had argued with his brother at their home and both teens grabbed knives from the kitchen. Investigators say Marquez told them he tried to grab the knife held by his brother, but realized he had wounded his brother when he saw blood on his chest. He brother was treated at a hospital for a collapsed lung caused by a puncture wound.
