Syracuse Pool Will Not Open In 2020
Time frame too narrow: coronavirus expected to cause late start to season and construction would end it as early as Aug. 2

SYRACUSE – The Syracuse pool is not expected to open in 2020.
Due to COVID-19 and an early closing date that was planned to begin construction of the new bathhouse, the pool will not be open for the shortened season.
At Wednesday’s city council meeting, the council noted that Gov. Ricketts’ order would keep pools closed until July 19. With an already scheduled construction date of Aug. 2, it would have left only two weeks for the pool.
