Richardson County Sheriff Reports Drug Trafficking Arrest Near Dawson

Kansas K9 assists Nebraska deputies uncover a pound of meth and pills near Dawson, Neb.

FALLS CITY – The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports a drug arrest Friday on Highway 75 near Dawson.

Following a traffic stop, a sheriff’s deputy requested assistance from a K9 unit from Brown County, Kan.

 

After the K9 indicated for the presence of illegal drugs, deputies searched the vehicle.

A press release says a pound of methamphetamine, 33 Tramadol pills, 190 Adderall pills and pills of Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, morphine and Xanax were found. Deputies also seized $2,000 in cash.

Arrested were 29-year-old Sarah Ockinga of Lincoln and 48-year-old Oak Anderson of Lincoln for suspicion of possession and drug trafficking.
