First Drive Hits Falls City Light Pole

FALLS CITY -  A Falls City teen’s first time driving ended with a damaged light pole at 13^th and Fulton Street.

According to a Falls City police accident report, Dallas Huddleston was heading east on 13^th Street and trying to turn north onto Fulton Street. He told investigators that he got excited and hit the accelerator too hard.

His pickup truck hit the light pole at the intersection and a neighbor’s parked car in the driveway.

Damage to the park car, owned by Aaron Moore, is estimated at $100. Damage to the light pole is $800 and damage to Huddleston’s pickup is estimated at $3,000.
