Wind Chill Advisory Issued For Sidney, Hamburg
National Weather service says frostbite could occur in as little as 30 minutes
VALLEY – The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for southwest Iowa including the towns of Sidney, Hamburg, Tabor, Farragut, Clarinda and Shenandaoh.
The wind chill advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. on Monday.
Cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Most areas will have very cold temperatures, but winds around 10 mph across southwest Iowa has promoted the issuance of the wind chill advisory overnight.
