Hamburg Man Suspected Of Half Pound Of Meth

K9 Unit makes stop as part of narcotics investigation

SIDNEY – A Hamburg man is suspected of possession of over a half pound of methamphetamine.

Fremont County Sheriff Kevin Aistrope reports that the K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop Monday as part of a narcotics investigation.

 Deputies arrested Jeffery Cline Lewis, age 26, of Hamburg for suspicion of possession with intent to deliver over a half pound of meth and failure to affix a tax stamp.

Lewis was held Monday at the Fremont County Jail on $30,000 bond.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Tabor Police Department, Mills County Sheriff’s Office and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
