Evnen Promotes Voter Registration Day

LINCOLN- Secretary of State Robert Evnen is promoting voter registration day on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Evnen says nearly one of every seven Americans of voting age are not registered.

He said many others need to update registrations due to a change in names or party affiliation.

People can register at their county election office or register online with the Department of Motor Vehicles when obtaining a driver’s license. The Secretary of State also has a voting registration website.

Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, will be the 59^th quadrennial U.S. presidential election.
