FCC Sets Outreach Meeting In Nebraska City On Robocalls, Scams And Television Transition

NEBRASKA CITY – The Federal Communications Commission is holding a government outreach meeting in Nebraska City on Thursday, Sept. 19.

The outreach is intended to answer questions for people receiving too many unwanted robocalls and scam calls, as well as those concerned about losing television stations after an upcoming broadcast transition.

FCC representatives will share information on how citizens can make their voice heard in telecommunications and broadcasting issues for Kansas and Nebraska.

The outreach is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Rowe Safety Complex.
