Police Report Harlan Street Crash

FALLS CITY – Falls City police report an injury accident Tuesday on Harlan Street.

A Mercury driven by Jillyn Barber, 28, of Falls City and a Ford Edge driven by Bertha Hale, 67, of Hiawatha, Kan., collided near 18^th Street.

Minor injuries were reported to Barber and Hale, as well as 4-year-old Aalden Hale, but rescue transports were not needed.

An accident reports says Barber attempted to turn into the Methodist Church parking lot despite oncoming traffic.
