Police say Perman sitting at a table with meth
FALLS CITY – Edward Perman, 60, is charged with delivery near a school, possession of money during a drug crime and habitual criminal on Feb. 3.
Falls City police reported Perman’s arrest following a search warrant at the Eastview Apartments, where 17 grams of methamphetamine, cash and a scale were seized.
A police affidavit says Perman was sitting at a table with a scale and bag of methamphetamine in front of him when an armed officer entered his apartment under the no-knock warrant.
Police seized $477 and say his apartment is within 1,000 feet of a playground.
Perman has been assigned a public defender and has not yet entered a plea in this case.
