PAWNEE CITY, NE - Lourdes Central Catholic & Pawnee City split a basketball doubleheader at the Indians' place on Tuesday, as heard on B103.

Game one saw the visiting Knights grab a 55-40 victory. LCC jumped ahead 17-6 after the opening quarter and cruised from there. Lourdes was led by the 14 points of Miesha Oggs, while Lily Madison & Mia White each sunk ten. Kinsley Benson was the lone player in double digits for Pawnee City with 14. Each team is now 2-2 on the season.

The nightcap saw LCC take a 23-17 lead into the locker room at halftime. Pawnee City then matched their first half point total in the third quarter alone, dominating in a 17-7 frame on the way to a 49-41 win. PC got 17 points from Jordan Wernimont & a dozen from Atreyu Kling, while Sam Ebmeier was the only double-digit scorer for LCC with 18. The teams both sit at 1-3 on the season overall.

Next up for LCC is a home DH against Bergan Catholic on Friday, while PC will visit Deshler's gym on Monday.
