Police cruiser involved in 11th Corso accident

NEBRASKA CITY – Emergency crews were called to 905 11^th Corso at noon on Wednesday for an accident involving a police cruiser.

The driver of an Iowa-plated vehicle struck the driver’s side of the police car before stopping in the front yard of a residence. The officer was not injured, but the driver of the Iowa-plated car was taken from the scene by ambulance.

The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
