NEBRASKA CITY – On the heels of a fatality accident on Highway 75 Thursday, emergency crews were dispatched Tuesday to a similar situation with much happier results.

A preliminary report indicates that a Isuzu commercial truck pulling a trailer crossed the centerline north of Nebraska City into the path of a Volvo with metropolitan license plates.

The driver of the Volvo took evasive action to avoid a head-on collision. The Isuzu driver pulled over safely after the accident. Both drivers and two boys riding in the Volvo were checked out and cleared by Nebraska City Fire and Rescue.
