Airport plans fuel farm grand opening
Noon ribbon cutting set May 8

NEBRASKA CITY -- The Nebraska City Municipal Airport has scheduled a May 8 ribbon cutting for its new self-service fuel farm.
The grand opening at 872 S. 64th Road is scheduled at noon.
The Airport Authority Board meeting is scheduled at 4:30 p.m.
Kyle Gress of Blue Line Aviation said the facility will provide Jet -A and AVGAS for piston aircraft.
Fuel sales at Nebraska City were in the range 14,000 gallons in 2017, but have recently rose to 119,000 gallons.
Gress said the new fuel farm fits the Nebraska City Airport Authority’s vision for growth and the mid-country location is handy for coast-to-coast air traffic.
