Nebraska City man charged with terroristic threats
Police say suspect had a machete in his hand

NEBRASKA CITY -- Trent Decker, 49, of Nebraska City is charged with terroristic threats and possession of a deadly weapon while committing a felony on April 10.
A Nebraska City police affidavit says officers were dispatched on April 9 to a Second Avenue residence where the occupant had received threatening digital messages. The affidavit says police told Decker not to go on the Second Avenue property.
The following day police say they observed Decker near the residence with a machete in his hand. Police say Decker told them he did not go onto the Second Avenue property, but had spent time across the street hoping to lure a man there out to fight.
A bond of $50,000 was set.
